About Nicolle Collins LMFT

What to expect from me

Therapy with me is both gentle and deep. Together, we create a space where you can breathe, explore, and begin to let go of what no longer serves you. I work with people who’ve been impacted by trauma and addiction, using evidence-based practices and a trauma-informed lens that honors your pace and your truth.

Our work may include moments of stillness, tears, even laughter, each step an invitation to reconnect with the parts of you that are wise, whole, and resilient. This isn’t about fixing you; it’s about coming home to yourself.

My background and approach

Get to know Nicole

Background

I hold a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and am a licensed LMFT in California. I have over five years of experience supporting adults, teens, and couples navigating trauma, addiction, and life transitions. My clinical work spans residential treatment, outpatient programs, and private practice. I bring specialized training in Brainspotting, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and trauma-informed care.

Philosophy & Approach

Therapy, for me, is rooted in collaboration and trust. I blend humor, compassion, and directness to create a space where real healing can happen. My approach is body-aware, evidence-based, and tailored to your lived experience. We go at your pace, honoring what feels right, and working toward integration and self-trust.

Why I Do This Work

My commitment to this work comes from personal experience. As someone who’s walked through trauma and addiction, I know what it takes to heal, and how powerful it is to feel truly seen. Clients often describe my style as warm, grounded, and intuitive, with just the right mix of structure and softness.

Personal Touches

When I’m not in session, you might find me crafting (yes, I once built a haunted dollhouse), hiking with my dogs, or laughing at life’s small absurdities. I hold authenticity, curiosity, and balance as core values, both in and out of the therapy room.
